THE ROLE Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved. Previous experience within a high-volume retail environment would be highly regarded. Key responsibilities include: - End to End ownership of debtor’s ledger
- Cash Receipting and Allocation of payments
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Liaising with internal and external customers with regards to account queries
- Creation of new Debtor Master Files
- Processing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals
ABOUT YOU To be successful, you will have: - Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Previous experience in Great Plains or Similar ERP systems will be highly regarded.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel eg. Vlookup
- Strong numerical skills
- Highly organized, good time management and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven skills using your initiative and being proactive
- Well-rounded skills working effectively within a team, whilst being able to work independently when required.
