THE ROLE

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved.  Previous experience within a high-volume retail environment would be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include:

• End to End ownership of debtor’s ledger
• Cash Receipting and Allocation of payments
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Liaising with internal and external customers with regards to account queries
• Creation of new Debtor Master Files
• Processing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journals

ABOUT YOU

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
• Previous experience in Great Plains or Similar ERP systems will be highly regarded.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel eg. Vlookup
• Strong numerical skills
• Highly organized, good time management and prioritization skills
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven skills using your initiative and being proactive
• Well-rounded skills working effectively within a team, whilst being able to work independently when required.
