The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Warranty Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing warranty claims, ensuring that customers’ warranty issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving/ decision-making abilities. You will have the capacity to manage both inbound and outbound calls as well as ticket resolutions and be self-motivation to work independently with minimal guidance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are skilled in providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls and customer inquiries related to warranty claims and support.
• Manage and resolve warranty tickets, ensuring quick response times and high customer satisfaction.
• Process and track warranty claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and timelines.
• Evaluate and assess warranty issues to make sound decisions on claims approvals or rejections.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all warranty-related issues are efficiently resolved.
• Maintain detailed records of warranty claims, including customer communication and decision-making processes.
• Provide guidance to customers on warranty coverage, terms, and conditions.
• Follow up on outstanding warranty claims to ensure timely resolutions.
• Prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently to handle a high volume of cases without compromising on quality.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, staying focused on achieving results and meeting deadlines.
• Identify areas for improvement in the warranty process and provide suggestions for increased efficiency.
• Be able to work independently and within a team environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a high-volume customer service or warranty role.
• Strong decision-making abilities, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate situations and resolve issues effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle many calls and tickets efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills.
• Self-starter who is highly motivated, efficient, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
• Experience with CRM systems, ticketing software, or warranty management tools is a plus.

THE ROLE

Based at our Parkinson warehouse, the purpose of the FL Driver & Picker is to ensure all customers receive their products in a timely manner. This is a fast paced role, working on stock management and ensuring all customer deliveries are processed and picked in a timely manner. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Pick and process stock orders accurately, using equipment such as forklifts to access stock and deliver items to the dispatch area

• Prepare goods for dispatch through safe and appropriate packing, wrapping and palletising

• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move incoming stock into designated storage locations

• Use RF scanners accurately across all functions relating to stock picking and replenishment

• Maintain and care for equipment used in the picking and replenishment process

• Ensure all accompanying documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner

• Assist with receiving incoming goods, including container unloading, as required

• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required from time to time

ABOUT YOU

This role is vital for supporting our sales team and ensuring that our clients receive the best of service. You will therefore possess the following skills and attributes:

• You thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with forklifts is essential - Must have valid FL license (High Reach - Highly Desirable)
• Previous experience working within a warehouse or stockroom environment is highly advantageous
• You have strong organisational skills and take pride in keeping work areas clean, structured, and efficient
• You are confident using computers and inventory management systems to process stock accurately
• You are reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting daily deadlines

THE ROLE

Based at our Frankston store and responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with local trade clients, key responsibilities of this role include:

• Expanding the trade customer base and maintaining lasting relationships with these customers
• Liaising with trade customers and responding to their enquiries
• Utilising product and pricing knowledge to make recommendations to trade customers
• Promoting company initiatives, such as the Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, to local electricians and builders
• Spending time ‘on the road’ visiting new and existing customers, as well as promoting special offers and products
• Educating other store team members on trade-based opportunities
• Meeting KPIs and delivering on sales budgets

• Build the design business by proactively seeking project opportunities from our retail and trade customers
• Nurture client relationships through the entire design process
• Read and interpret house and electrical plans to create inspirational lighting designs to suit the customers’ needs and budget
• Contribute to the overall presentation of the showroom through merchandising new products, assisting with promotional set ups, and general housekeeping
• Keep up to date with the latest technology and trends in design
