THE ROLE 

We're looking for a customer-focused and solutions-driven Customer Care & Warranty Specialist to join our After Sales Care team.

Every day is different. You'll help customers after their purchase, assess warranty claims, liaise with stores and suppliers, and work towards fair, practical outcomes that create positive customer experiences.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Assist customers via phone and email with warranty and after-sales enquiries

• Assess warranty claims in line with company policies

• Process warranty requests and ensure timely resolutions

• Work closely with stores, suppliers and internal teams to resolve customer issues

• Keep customers informed throughout the warranty process

• Maintain accurate records using our CRM and ticketing systems

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer outcomes

• Deliver friendly, professional service with every interaction

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in customer service, warranty, retail support or a similar role

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks

• Confidence using multiple computer systems

   

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• The ability to work independently while being a supportive team member

Experience in warranty administration or CRM systems is an advantage but not essential.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As our eCommerce Coordinator, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional online customer experiences across the Beacon Lighting Group's websites. Working closely with Marketing, IT, eCommerce Support and external development partners, you will:

• Coordinate and execute marketing campaign updates across multiple websites
  Optimise, review and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, relevance and performance
• Assist in the delivery of ecommerce projects, new website functionality and ongoing enhancements
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for website updates and ecommerce initiatives
• Coordinate onsite personalisation and promotional messaging to maximise customer engagement
• Monitor ecommerce performance and assist in analysing website traffic, sales and campaign results
• Prepare reports, presentations and meeting documentation to support business decision-making
• Brief creative assets to the Design team while ensuring all activity aligns with Beacon Lighting's brand standards
• Stay up to date with ecommerce trends and best practice to continually improve our digital experience

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, eCommerce or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an ecommerce or digital marketing role
• Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) will be highly regarded
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing ideas and continuous improvement

THE ROLE

Based at our Parkinson warehouse, the purpose of the FL Driver & Picker is to ensure all customers receive their products in a timely manner. This is a fast paced role, working on stock management and ensuring all customer deliveries are processed and picked in a timely manner. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Pick and process stock orders accurately, using equipment such as forklifts to access stock and deliver items to the dispatch area

• Prepare goods for dispatch through safe and appropriate packing, wrapping and palletising

• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move incoming stock into designated storage locations

• Use RF scanners accurately across all functions relating to stock picking and replenishment

• Maintain and care for equipment used in the picking and replenishment process

• Ensure all accompanying documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner

• Assist with receiving incoming goods, including container unloading, as required

• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required from time to time

ABOUT YOU

This role is vital for supporting our sales team and ensuring that our clients receive the best of service. You will therefore possess the following skills and attributes:

• You thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with forklifts is essential - Must have valid FL license (High Reach - Highly Desirable)
• Previous experience working within a warehouse or stockroom environment is highly advantageous
• You have strong organisational skills and take pride in keeping work areas clean, structured, and efficient
• You are confident using computers and inventory management systems to process stock accurately
• You are reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting daily deadlines
• You communicate clearly and work well within a team environment
• You take ownership of your work, ensuring customer orders and deliveries are handled correctly the first time

THE ROLE

Based out of our commercial office, we are looking for a Residential Lighting Designer to connect directly with the builder’s clients and apply their expert knowledge in delivering practical and creative lighting plans and solutions to our volume residential building clients across Regional Victoria & Port Melbourne! 

Please note; this is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Reading and understanding architectural and electrical plans

• Creating lighting design plans that reflect the customer’s needs and design concepts

• Selecting and specifying product and placement solutions that fit the customer brief whilst providing a professional, knowledgeable, and efficient service

• Applying knowledge of technical issues to ensure appropriate recommendations are made that facilitate efficient and successful installations

• Assisting in seeking opportunities that grow the consultation service

• Ensuring all administrative requirements are followed through, attending to phone enquiries, reporting on consultations and safety procedures, and completing all relevant paperwork

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A proven track record in the Lighting/Electrical industry preferred but not essential

• Strong customer service and sales skills, focusing on providing a personalised service and a flexible approach

• The ability to negotiate effectively and contribute towards the improvement of profitability, compliance and overall business structure

• Experience or knowledge in interior/lighting design and the ability to read and interpret house plans

• A strong attention to detail, using systems competently, preparing quotes and orders

• An energetic and enthusiastic approach when engaging with clients and other key stakeholders

• The ability to work in a team environment and support the team towards a common goal

• A positive attitude and resilience through challenges and pressures

Part of the Beacon Lighting Group, the Commercial Sales Division provides an exclusive lighting design and consultancy service to the large volume residential building market in Australia. We also specialise in project and specification lighting in various commercial sites including apartments, hotels, and aged care facilities. Working alongside the growing Trades industry, we are continuously seeking ways of expanding our network.
